This is a wind up thread....has to be? You'd have us trade one of the world's best young (and English) keepers.... for who exactly?

Even the City hating Media have a tough time banding together against Joe Hart. Yes, he made some mistakes this year, BUT...... name a Premier league keeper who didn't make mistakes. Reina, Mignolet, Schezny, Krul, Czek and the rest all had howlers. Keepers always will.

De Gea? FFS. Great stopper, but Joe is a 'colusses on crossus' in comparison.
A Goalkeeper can't easily improve on positioning, reaction, instinct, bravery and dedication, but can most easily improve on or limit distribution mistakes.

Next you'll be saying that Pantilimon has 'superior distribution'.

There is no myth. Joes distribution is totally dire. Add that and we have a truly world class keeper. Perhaps the best.

You should be careful what you wish for. Our last 2 'alternative' keepers, Given and Pantilimon, can barely reach the half way line with their kicks and are shaky at best when the ball is rolled back to them.

Have been critical of Hart Distribution over the past 12 months,however still the best goalie by a mile in England.Fantastic game last night.
Just needs to improve on the distribution and jobs a good un.

it doesn't have to reach the half way line, just has to find a city player.
