Tomorrow we all need to show hart our support. We need an "England's number one" to boom round the stadium.

Whether he plays or not we should sing it, but if he doesn't play after he has had so much support from fellow professionals then Mr P who I have been giving the benefit of the doubt until now, as he is new, will go way, way, way, way down in my estimation. Not that he will bother about that but there we go!!

Why should it be sung if Pants plays? What do you think Pants would think?

It'd be almost like singing Mancini tomorrow.

Panti should be given a chance. If he blows it ,back comes Hart. You should play on merit and not on reputation. Any player who is dropped takes a knock of confidence. He has played a lot of football and taken some stick from the media which all increases the pressure on him. At the moment he needs a break.

I have a feeling that if Pants comes in he could really make the position his own. He is better than Hart at crosses. The save he made at Wembley v Chelsea was one I don't think Hart would have made. He has never let us down. He should be given a chance in my opinion. If he isn't now then he never will unless Hart messes up again.

Players should be picked on form and not reputation. At the moment Hart isn't in form and hasn't progressed at the rate the team has. It's a shame as I would like him to succeed but I fell that one way or another this will be his last season with us.

Pants isn't close to Hart in terms of ability. Drop Hart and how many games do you give Pants ? How many mistakes does he make before Hart's back in?

Put them both on the market and who do you think will attract the big clubs and the big fee ?

I think we all know the answer and there's a good reason for that

Do we drop Nasty, Vinny, Zabba ? They've all cost us goals this season.

Some on here need to grow a pair and take a balanced view. Some of the stuff on here is that embarrassing it makes me cringe. Hart out, Pellers out........YCFMIU.... bookmark this and come back to me when we're crowned champions next May............

Correct; it's stupid idea. It's undermining both Costel and Pellegrini.

Agreed.

I think my post is balanced. We don't know how close Pants is to Hart as he hasn't had a real chance. He may come in and progress quicker than Hart has. At present Hart is very average and, in my opinion, has not kept pace with the improvement of the team. As I said I think if he gets in he could make the position his own. If he doesn't and is shaky then Hart comes back with renewed determination and confidence to prove everyone wrong. He should be treated no different than any outfield player. I think the manager may agree tomorrow.

Ironically, the problem here is that Joe IS England's number one.
He has been on a poor run of form for some time now and if he wasn't England's number one, do we honestly believe he would not have been dropped by now?
The England's numer one label is the only thing keeping him in the team. I am not sure this is a good thing any longer.
I suspect if Pants gets the nod it will be a while before we see Joe out there again....

Your opinion mate and I obviously respect your right to it ( you'll have worked out I don't agree , obviously).........It would be interesting to know your thoughts on the questions I asked in my previous post ?
