Still no takers. You'd have thought that with the passion used to slag JH off they'd at least have a go. Supporters my fuckin arse.

They seem to have all fucked off mate. He`s done little wrong over the past few games yet I bet the fuckers wont come on here and claim "well done Joe".

Bump. Just to see if anyone grows a pair and crawls out from the woodwork........
It's the old scapegoat mentality that some supporters have. They'll be waiting for the next mistake ignoring any brilliance that he may have done in the interim and then they'll be back on here spitting venom and claiming the argument. They're the sort of people who blame others for their own shortfalls. They'll be back.

Your being a bit hysterical here lads, I was one of those that criticised Joes recent form and I also called for Pants to be given a few games, as is the norm when players are out of form. In the last couple of games Joe has been very steady and played very well for England on Tuesday night. Nobody will be happier than me if Joe plays every game for the next ten years on merit, he's a top class keeper. However as fans we are allowed to criticise our players when we feel they are not showing the required form to be starting games, it doesn't make us any less passionate about City who I for one have supported for many years before Joe was born. There are some WUM on here who take it too far but the majority made fair comment. CTID

Nonsense and the opposite may be true. I get the feeling that some of the people who hardly ever see Joe making a mistake wouldn't hesitate to slate any gaffs by Dzeko or Kolarov.

Joe played well and kept a clean against Poland. Dzeko dragged Bosnia to the World Cip finals. Hopefully some of the Joe Hart groupies have also recognised this during the internation break.

I think the term 'fanboy' has been exhausted between the Mario and Edin threads over the past couple of years so a new term is needed to pigeon hole people.

I think people get a bit carried away with what is written on here.It is a discussion group and players form good or bad will be discussed.I don't hear anyone getting on Joe's back at the match, quite the opposite in fact and i am sure some who have criticized him have sung his name.Unless the players read this site then they would be oblivious to any flak.

Far from nonsense IMO. Some people realise that even the best players form fluctuates and accept that. If we dropped every good player after a couple of performances that didn't meet there usual high standards , we'd be in a mess.

Put Joe on the transfer list and I'm sure there would be no shortage of takers and we'd receive a very large fee.

Lot's on here have called for Pants to be given a run. Some have claimed he's a better keeper than Hart.

The lad said he wanted to leave last season and it was widely accepted the club would let him go for a reasonable fee.

We weren't exactly crushed in the stampede to sign him, were we.

That should tell you a lot. I don't think anyone should back players blindly, but sometimes the class acts have a bit of credit in the bank. Harts got plenty on deposit for me.

Harts a decent keeper but he isnt world class. If he currently played for someone else and we needed a keeper not many would be talking about him.

I think he can be world class he's just lacking the consistency. I've seen him play games like he had car sized hands and was stopping shots he had no right to stop and I've also seen him have games where he could have done much better. I guess time will tell if he will truly become the keeper he could be. People forget he's only 26 and keepers don't usually play their best until they are a lot older and more experienced.

Gotta agree, hes shown us he can be world class, for example that display against Dortmund was breathtaking, without a doubt the best display of keeping i've seen with my own eyes. Consistency and getting rid of the errors in his game are the issues he should be working on
