Surprised some pricks aren't on here slating him for not saving an overhead kick. Goes very quiet on this thread when he hasn't made a mistake.

Some of us were at the game chanting England's number one. It is about being fair and objective.

Some of us were. You come across as a well reasoned poster Tim. There are plenty of others who have posted on this thread who use it simply as a vehicle to slate Hart. Those same posters don't seem able to acknowledge when the lad has a good game.

It is very quiet on this one when he has a decent game.

Says a lot about certain posters IMO.

I thought there were slight communication problems between Hart when shielding the ball for him to pick up. He seemed very nervous though it will take time for him to regain his confidence. He seems to punch the ball a lot more than he used to do.

Made a crucial save from Diame, played well, but his kicking is piss poor.

West Ham were good at putting pressure on Joe's kicks. It seemed like a planned tactic and I think we were a bit too eager to pass back to Joe at times.

He doesn't have quite the length on his kicks that some keepers have, but his kicking is as accurate as anyone.

You don't see it very often because City try to build up from the back.

Huge credit is due to Hart for playing on through his bad patch and showing great strength of character.

Still short of confidence and it's gonna take longer before he's out of this difficult period, unfortunately. Just keeping my fingers crossed for the lad
