Joel Ndala

Just finished to watch England vs Brazil. You have a top talent.
I think you're right, but its a conveyor belt. Its every year,eg Borges last year - just in that position! It would be great to see another come through but Palmer has showed the standard of player's who aren't good enough for us. Palmer was superb as a youth for us, its no surprise hes doing well for Chelsea. But he still wasn't good enough for us and now hes an England international. Thats the standard. You've got to be rico or phil good. And that's GOOD! Personally think Max Alleyne or Lawrence have the most chance of making it but that's a good few years away.

Lawrence isn't fit to lace Ndala's boots from what I've seen.

Don't think Lawrence makes it here. He reminds me of Morgan Rogers, think his talent is suited to the Championship.

Ndala is out of contract next summer so we need to try and show him a pathway this season or else he's gone. A top, top talent this kid.

I agree with those sentiments

I don't see us keeping Ndala personally, which is why I think Lawrence is most likely to make it with us. Winger is probably one of the toughest Position to break through for us,beacaus of what Pep demands, but I think Lawrence can play a more varies role ala Bobb. Personally think there is much more to come.

Didn’t Ndala sign a 3 year pro at the start of the season?

I thought I'd read that Ndala turned Dortmund (and a few others) down to stay?

He was unreal and the best talent on show in the England vs Brazil game. Personally I think he needs the fast tracking that Phil / Rico have had.

Him and O'Reilly are the best two in the academy IMO.

It depend on the lad and if he wants the slow go pep coaching or the Sancho palmer way! He is still very young though has time on his hands

I would add Isiah Dada-Mascoll to those 2. I think I read that O'Reilly has signed on for a further 5 years.

Ndala is a great prospect, I've watched him at an FA Youth Cup game and you can tell he has a future whether at City or just in football. Hope he's able to stay for a while and break into the first team.

If we can keep Ndala and mold him into a backup LW, it convinces more than ever that Grealish needs to be turned into a midfielder.

by the time he breaks through and gets a chance, grealish will be look at retirement.

Is his contract up at the end of this season or does he have a couple of years left? I’ve seen both and don’t know which is correct.

I would be very surprised if we let him go: he is a huge talent. I don't know anything of Joel's personality, and there can be tension between a young player's ambition and the patience needed to reach the first-team in a world-class squad. If he is to go elsewhere, I suspect a loan, or a buy-back arrangement.
As it is, I do not feel that he is quite ready for the first-team, but he is definitely one to watch.
