Barton off the pitch leaves a lot to be desired but the present witch hunt against him for his views on female punits is a disgrace for an aledgeed country of free speech.
Free speech law just means the government can't arrest you for you views, providing they don't stray into incitement or hate speech.
His free speech isn't being impeded.
He's just being criticised for his views.
You're free to agree with his views if you wish.
Others are free to say his views are a load of cynical, calculated, misogynistic shite.
