I’m guessing this has mostly been caused by the backlash to him referring to his brother’s racist murder of a teenager with an ice pick as “a scrap” and complaining he “lost 17 years” of his life because of it.

There has never been a single woman on TV who has scraped the barrel of stupidity harder than Michael Owen or Alan Shearer.
