John Guidetti: 20 goals and 6 assists in 23 for Feyenoord

In what respect Blue? I know we can all make snide comments about the strength and quality of the Dutch league, but he seems to have done remarkably well over there if he has serious back problems.

Was at carrington today so perhaps he is staying this season? or at least taking part in pre-season.

I'd imagine he will play the three games in Austria at least and possibly be part of the Asia tour unless a transfer/loan is done before then. Elabdellaoui is on the Austria tour before going to Feyenoord on loan so I think Guidetti and Boyata will be too.

Looks like he has a place in the squad then. It isn't long till they leave for pre season so you would imagine they wouldn't give him one if he wasn't staying.

Good news anyway.

Will he return to Feyenoord? It's been way to quiet and I don't think any club'd want an injured player, right?

Off: Found this class video, gotta love the face expressions of Guidetti and the fans at 3:18, haha: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZFH7scy3vY" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZFH7scy3vY</a>

Feyenoord's technical director had a general meeting today with Brian Marwood and rumours are that any decision regarding Guidetti (renewed loan to Feyenoord) will be delayed until mid/end of August.

Guidetti needs to get back to full fitness first. It's still most likely that other clubs will be interested in him. Feyenoord have a better chance if they come through the Champions League qualification rounds first.
