Getting sick of people naming shit players as if scoring in the Dutch league is not impressive.

It's always funny when they fail to mention Van Persie, Luis Suarez, Van Nistlerooy, Kuyt, Kalou ect

Just searched and found that Luis Suarez scored 12 goals in all competitions for Ajax last season. He left around this time too, so a comparison can be made.

Most relevant comparison would be Ibrahimovic, as a). Guidetti is called the new Ibra in Sweden, b). Ibra played in the same league at the same age, although perhaps it was slightly stronger in 2001? Can't recall.

Anyway, equivalent seasons:

Ibra for Ajax in 2001/2002: 6 goals and 4 assists in 24 league games

Guidetti for Feyenoord in 2011/2012: 14 goals and 3 assists in 13 games.

Speaking of Ibrahimovic, I find it quite telling that many Swedes would prefer Guidetti instead of him for the national team.

Trust me, it has nothing to do because they think Guidetti is world class. It has alot more to do with Sweden simply plays better whenever Zlatan doesnt play. we could've/shoud've played in him some of the cup games this year and may blooded him at some league games at start of season (when we'd gone 3/4/5 goals up). Certainly looks like a great prospect but dont think he'd be happy playing a bit part.

Just watched the Feyenoord vs Ajax clip and a good hat trick from John Guidetti took the goals well, playing very well, and would love to see him get a chance in the first team he deserve's it...............
