Guidetti is the 4th youngest player ever to score 3 hattricks in the Eredivisie. The other 3?
Johan Cruijff, Marco van Basten and Wim Kieft.

Guidetti is the youngest player to score 16 Eredivisie league goals since Salomon Kalou (Feyenoord - Now Chelsea)

Guidetti is the 2nd player ever to score 3 hattricks in 3 consecutive home games (Cees de Groot from ajax did it in 1963/64)

Guidetti is the 2nd Swede in the Eredivisie to score 3 hattricks. Ove Kindvall is the other one who did this in the 69/70 season. Kindvall scored the match winning goal in the European Cup final for Feyenoord later that year.

It was myth that samares was amazing in the dutch league he only scored 1 in 4 matches. We would be mad not to let guidetti have a chance next season.

Samaras didn't have a good goal record in Holland really, 30 goals in 110 games. Guidetti has 17 goals in 15 games.

good for John. Deserves a chance here next season as his numbers are hard to ignore. Though at age 19 I would probably loan him out yet again to play every week.

What are you guys saying? Samaras was one of the top players in that league...superb. He did not play as a CF, more like a winger/ second striker. But he was a top player back then... albeit, does not look as good as Guidetti. He seems to be picking up at Celtic now aswell.
