Today's news lines quote Guidetti as not willing to stay here as fourth striker. Seems to me he's already pushing for a move.

He does look promising but didn't alfonso alves have a similar scoring record in the dutch league. A good look at him in pre season training and then potentially a loan to another premier league club.

I wish everyone would stop going on about Afonso Alves. Is he the benchmark that everyone is judged on now?

This is where Mancini needs to step up and convince him that he'll see plenty of action at City. There's no way City won't be challenging on four fronts next season and having four quality strikers is essential. Bobby will explain to him that City doesn't have 1st-2nd-3rd-4th strikers, they have a rotation.

Have the people who are dismissing Guidetti actually seen him play or is it just that its now cool to dismiss any talent that City produce?
