The sooner he leaves the better. People can shut up about him then. He's average at best. Trotting out the same old excuses about injuries as with Johnson.
You cant be serious?

And don't underestimate he importance of home grown players to our future squad. It will become a factor.

Swansea are running the rule over Manchester City’s young striker John Guidetti, after failing in their bid to sign free agent Franco Di Santo.

Guidetti, 21, was targeted by former boss Brendan Rodgers last year but a loan deal fell through.

Guidetti, who has made just one senior appearance for City, has never the less hugely impressed on various loans but is aware that his chances of securing a place in the first team is limited.

Swansea boss Michael Laudrup would like to bring in a new striker, but has been told to trim the wage bill which suggests that any approach would be for a loan move

as far as Prem teams go Swansea would probably be the ideal choice

But how many games would he play competing with Michu, Bony, Lita and Moore?

Well he'd be ahead of Lita and Moore that's for certain

John has been out on loan and has proved his quality. He will no doubt be given his chance in the first team when Manuel sees fit. Pointless sending him out on loan again when the lad is hungry for a chance at City, we'll end up losing him if we ship him out again.

There's not a prayer he is going to get decent game time here and he has proved nothing in the Prem.

Swansea, where he'd hopefully play alongside,or replace/rotate with Bony, with Michu playing just behind, would be an ideal move.

I believe Laudrup will soon be amongst the best,John could learn plenty.

I'd be all for him going on loan providing that he is not played too soon. He needs to be eased into this season. If it's allowed I'd loan him but have him continue to train with us for another month so we can continue to assess his fitness in person.
