john guidetti

I personally think he needs two seasons with us one isn't long enough for a young player for me maybe a loan to a mid table club like west brom I've always rated Steve Clarke I was pretty surprised he didn't get a chance at the kings of istree when Kenny left and he's seems to have done well with lukaku we need these young players to come through so loaning seems sensible to me

Any updated news on Guidetti? Was hoping to see something of him in the US tour, will surely be given his chance next season with the new 'youth vision' mentioned by Txiki

Hopefully he'll be able to participate in a full pre-season. After than we'll be in a better position to judge his quality and potential future.

He was supposed to play att he end of the season. He was due ot start v West Brom but did something to his ankle. He was limping around Carington in a cast for the last couple of weeks.

It was ligament damage i think

I've had a thought. Yes, I know it's rare, but bare with me.

Jovetic is, by his own admission, not an out-and-out striker, which means we have Kun, Edin and Alfie as our front-line forwards.

It also means, as it stands, John G. is our fourth striker / centre-forward.

He will be when he's fit

He was in South Africa, looks like he must have flown back to Manchester early to carry on with his own individual work.

He said he would be starting running soon then he can join in with proper training if he can. Still months away from playing.
