Bolton Wanderers want to take Manchester City striker John Guidetti on loan next season. The cash-strapped Championship outfit have told boss Dougie Freedman that he will have to get creative in the summer window. The Trotters' board were impressed by the club's strong finish to the last campaign, and are prepared to bankroll the wages of high-profile loan players. Guidetti, 22, was left frustrated by a five-month loan spell at Stoke City last term, having made just six appearances. The Sweden international is still desperate to improve his fitness levels after an infected nerve left him without feeling in his right leg 18 months ago. Guidetti will speak with City boss Manuel Pellegrini in the coming weeks to know exactly where he stands, but the Chilean is a confirmed admirer of the player.
