John Guidetti's latest transfer 'request' - Galatasaray

Is he good enough to play for Real madrid? Barca? Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United?

No.

SO, why do some people think he is good enough to get into a team with FOUR WORLD CLASS STRIKERS?

He needs to choose......wait for your chance at City while gaining more experience elsewhere, or let the Boss know that you want to STAY HERE and work with the First Team squad as the Fifth striker, knowing your chances will be limited, but wanting to bed in with the squad with whom you want to play for the next 5-10 years?

i hope he sticks around and gets a few chances to shine this year, as it may well save us a few bob AND allow us to sell any non-performing forward!!

Oh, and, if City ask, it might be nice to sign a new contract THIS YEAR if you really DO want to stay, because trying to leverage us NEXT year will be seen as a tad mercenary!
tbh teams make space for young players for them to improve. Its very very rare a 20 year old is better than a 26 year old experienced striker in a top team, but when they believe in young player they make space for him. look at Wellbeck....was he really better player than berbatov 12 months ago? Hell no

dont know tbh....they have done it at a higher level, but he hasnt given the chance to show if he is or not and we wont know until he gets a chance

exactly my point, give him the chance somewhere for either a half season or fu season loan and see how he gets along. He's gotta be given a chance somewhere to see if he can play in the league.

If City do loan him out again, then we will have to persuade him to sign another contract extension as he has only two years left on his present deal.

I don't understand the scorn for Guidetti here. He just had a great season playing first team footy and wants to carry on doing that.

I think some people are under the assumption he's Sturridge 2.0 in terms of attitude and arrogance.
