Yeah his dad was a clergyman and moved around a bit I thinkBorn in Salford but moved away at a very early age
At the time he was the best we’d had for a while.What a game that was, when we thought Brian Horton was a great manager after all, lol

Just watching the tribute to him and a lot of it is a the etihad. There’s a lot of warmth and mutual respect shown by him and buzzer and also Bernard halford. Far cry from the wankers we get now.
