He is far and above Otamendi defensively that is for sure, Stones and Laporte are our best pairing for me.

Just like mine - an opinion :)He reads the game better,he's more athletic,he rarely dives in,he's far more composed,he passes the ball much better,and he rarely needs to lay clumsy hands on the opposition in an effort to gain an advantage.

Bloody injury has prevented the best partnership in the league IMO.Agreed, Stones is pure class. We need to see him and Laporte start for the rest of the season.

I agree Stones is overall better than Ota and that is mainly down to age, but not greatly better as suggested
