This is how things are going to play out in future contract talks.
It may seem to be 100k a week over the odds but that is 25m over 5 years.
Stones could leave next year on a free and get that at least as a signing on fee.
City would never be able to replace him for 25m.

Expect more of this as contract renewals go forward.
