The house in Hale that John Stones bought from Ashley Young months ago, that I mentioned this week had seemed unoccupied with removal vans coming this week, has just been sold again, by Stones to a wealthy Hale builder. I don't know where Stones is moving?

I refuse to accept Mourinho is anywhere near Stones. He's only got one 'dependable' centre back in Smalling, what makes anyone think he wants a project as his second CB. Sure if he had a clear first pairing he might do but nothing about his career suggests to me he'd want a project, which is what stones is. We meanwhile have pep, the guy who's built a career on taking players and making them better

He's probably not noticed the most sought after houses being sold whilst he thinks he's made the best offer, will suddenly steam in at the last second with a desperate bid which is too low & miss out completely.

I agree mate....sadly, transfer window has already been open for Bayern and Arsenal for about a week now.....think its just us that are a littler slower to get started!!; ) If we look at the past few windows, its just not Txiki's way to move quickly on a transfer.....

Well he was quite clearly after him at Chelsea. And was in the process of replacing Terry. Suggesting he'd have one CB as his "project" there. Also who's to say they wouldn't buy 2 CB's? Imagine his spending is going to rival our own.

I'm of the opinion Stones will end up in or near Manchester at us or them. If we're after Stones or Laporte rather than both then I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with Laporte & United end up with Stones, if we're after both then I imagine we'll end up with both, seems a fairly straightforward choice to pick City over United in a head to head this year.
