I don't believe any of those 3 were ever truely interested, not at that price anyway. If pep wants him then that's good enough for me! There is definitely a talent there, hopefully pep can take him to the very top as you don't get us, barca, Chavs and rags chasing someone who isn't a talent
he's moving in with u2...it gets betterI should hope so, I've heard he moves in to his new house on "the Edge" when he gets back
And the whole country will gather in solidarity to boo him LAAAAAR !Don't worry all you pessimists on here, he will be shite for us this season. Every mistake analysed, every pundit lined up to destroy him. Regardless of performances, for every 10 good things he does we will be spoon fed the one that is not up to scratch.

Given Vinney's current injury situation, DeMichelis (and possibly Mangala) leaving, as well as Denayer's complete lack of premiership experience, agents out there know we're absolutely desperate for another. CB,
From my of view this was merely a scare tactic, by Everton & the player' s agent, to get us to panic buy, someone, who, judging by last season's showing, is a hell of a risk, at a completely unrealistic price.
Let's hope Pep genuinely believes in the lad, and really has had the final say on this one, rather than it being someone else, I have my doubts
Spot onYou must be joking, right?
The chavs weren't really interested in him? Have you forgotten the whole transfer request saga last summer? Martinez spitting blood at Chelsea and Mourinho's underhand tactics?
Mourinho was desperate to have him last summer.
And why on earth would you doubt Pep is calling the shots? What evidence is there for that? You think he left Bayern Munich over not having enough control over transfers, only to come here and not control transfers?
Or how about our other summer targets being 2 Germans he's been watching for the last 3 years, and a former player, Nolito.
What part of that makes you suspect he's not calling the shots?
If Pep didn't want him, we wouldn't be getting him. And now the two best managers in the planet, who both have very different, but brilliant defensive tactics have made Stones a top priority in successive summers.
How can any random football fan think they know more than those two and their entire scouting teams about Stones' ability?

My opinion is that you can't polish a turd but you can make a diamond flawlessNot joking at all, but, for the record, I actually said that they (or I) wouldn't go near him for the £50 Million+ price that's currently being rumoured.
I sincerely hope that you - as a random Blue, with an opinion, like myself - are eventually proved to be right in the end.
I was tempted to reply when I first saw the post but held fire as I was hoping it was a clarkie, sadly he seems to be serious. You must be joking, right?
