Hi mate, 20mil, 25mil and 30mil were all rejected...Looks like Chelsea were willing to go to 40mil but Everton said not for sale! (links below are last summer transfer window)

Was just pointing out what Chelsea valued him at 12 month ago,obviously Everton would of seen it a lot more,eventually they turned down a 30m bid.
Could his value of doubled after the season he had?
For me he's a £35-£40m player,just opinion.
If we end up paying £50,£60 whatever million,I ain't really arsed.

Depends what he was valued at 12 months ago, which, Im not sure was made known.

I don't either,was just using what Chelsea went up to as a benchmark,which was apparently £30m.
He's had a bit of a shocker last season,and now we're talking £50-£60m.

What makes you surmise that Stones is Pep's "ideal CB"?

Well for one Pep is openly a big fan of him. And secondly because Stones is everything Pep wants in a defender. Watch the way we were set up against Bayern in the friendly, notice how much of the ball the defence had? Stones is tailor made for that role. Pep isn't an idiot. He isn't going to sign a defender for £50 million unless that defender is perfect for his team.
