That's fair enough. But you come on a City forum and start throwing your weight around, if someone
has the temerity to disagree with you. You have some fucking cheek. You can ignore me too.
I will be ignoring your holier than thou shite.

I'm not "throwing weight around".

I'm here to talk about Stones.

I have no interest in people talking shit about my club. I'll let them know it's not for me and that's the end of it. It's not 'holier than thou', it's me not wanting to waste my time.

Bye lad. You're also on the list.

Back to Stones. I'm perfectly happy for the club to pay what they feel the player is worth. We're doing this because the manager wants him, so it will have a positive impact on our club. Part of me wishes we would pull out and leave blue scouse with an unhappy player for another year but no point cutting our nose off to spite our face. Let them take the money for their best players whilst their (very bitter) fans content themselves with the 'fact' that they're going places under their new ownership.

Well for one Pep is openly a big fan of him. And secondly because Stones is everything Pep wants in a defender. Watch the way we were set up against Bayern in the friendly, notice how much of the ball the defence had? Stones is tailor made for that role. Pep isn't an idiot. He isn't going to sign a defender for £50 million unless that defender is perfect for his team.

I didn't see any of our match against Bayern but I think everyone knows that Pep highly values a player's ability on the ball. Irrespective of whether he signs or not, I just hope we know one way or another soon.

Can anyone point me to the source that Pep has said he wants Stones? All I've been reading from the papers is that the club is willing to spend £80m on Stones and Laporte but even these had no direct quotes from Pep or any of our staff.

It's pretty obvious, isn't it?

There may not be any direct quotes but most managers (Mourinho aside) will tell you, when asked about a certain player, "he's a good player but I don't like to comment on players at other clubs".

I've only ever seen direct quotes from Pep about Sane. Nothing on Stones but it seems common knowledge that we interested in him and him in us! Most managers wont talk about a pending transfer, so not concerned that we havent seen any direct quotes..

I'm absolutely stunned that very, very highly paid coaches can't teach a player how to pass a football. It's not as if t these players have day jobs, then go to footie training after work. This is all they do, and from a very young age as well. All this money, and most of it because he is comfortable on the ball.

All it shows is how utterly fucking thick footballers are. If they aren't born with the ability to pass the ball, then it can't be taught? Surely this can't be true? Useless fucking cunts. Every fucking defender should be made to train 4 hours a fucking day until they can pass the ball. Rocket science it fucking isn't.
