John Stones

We'll probably come to an agreement eventually. Can't see Pep walking away from his ideal CB. If we get Stones then I think he would be the last piece of the puzzle and Pep would have a team he could win the league with.

I've not read through here as much granted but people on twitter seem to be implying we need to sell before buying Stones.

It might be harder to get premium rates for players but we have 5 free 'HG' spots now Wright has been released and Stones could be added to the squad without the need to sell, as could another 4 HG players in theory.

We've got an extra 'foreign' player already as a result of adding Nolito and Gundogan with only Demichelis leaving so far.

Sane doesn't change that as he's u21 but it does affect Champions League places unless Iheanacho qualifies on the B-list this year if anyone knows?

I hope Stones is very close to becoming signing number four!

Good summary, thanks. With the various different rules for domestic and champs league it can be difficult to keep track. I seem to remember another poster mentioning the other day that Iheanacho does qualify for the b group this year.

Hopefully Everton's interest in Williams will mean we are able to conclude a move for Stones once that is confirmed. My guess is a fee in the early 40 millions will be publicly announced for Stones (if we sign him) with the rest in add ons, as per Sane.

Have they even spent a quid in this window? Should be getting their skates on with less than two weeks to the new season. Snivelling coyote club.
Remember when they got all excited about their new investors? A new TV deal and a new manager, and they've done fuck all. Martin Stekelenburg for £850k is it.

€10 million for Kone from Sunderland is all they've forked out so far, as far as I'm aware.. As Karen7 says, after all the idle boasts of the Everton fans, it would be hilarious if they turned out to be avid followers of the Glazer model, and were simply using what few assets Everton possess as a means to line there own pockets.

Well there's £49,999,999.99 sat in Txiki's top drawer for them and they'll flog Lukaku as well.

They are linked to Williams for £10m, and Kone at Sunderland but none gone through yet. Also linked with Witsel and Koulibaly.
