I wouldnt be against this!We might sign both Stones and Laporte and sell Otamendi and Mangala :)
Pep's way might mean making some big decisions

Its pretty certain that Otamendi is staying. Demi is leaving on free this summer and Mangala is the one on thin ice imo. Denayer is all and all a pep player , who can player almost anywhere if needed. Otamendi has had a great season, a great FIRST season, that time will make even better. Mangala hasnt broken through even now, after two years, and even tho he has the attributes to become a beast its not a "could be" player that Pep wants at age 25. There is a difference between a 21y/o Denayer who has shown, sadly, more glimpses of brilliance than Mangala who is some years older. I think Mangala will get the axe for Laporte or Stones, although we dont need a new CB really.I find it more likely that Otamendi still stays but there Would still be plenty room when Demechelis moves on and/or if Mangala we're to be sold

Hope to God no, his value and potential he's showing is world class through and throughDo we sell Denayer ?
Could be playing 3centre backs Laporte left vinny central and stones rightI wouldnt be against this!
I think Kompany, Otamendi and Denayer, with the addition of Stones would be great as our centre backs next season.
Demi is off and we can probably still get a few million for Mangala from an Italian or French club. It's just not worked out for him here in my opinion. Unless Pep can inspire him, but it's not like he's a youngster.
Mangala has Mendes as agent, no doubt we would ger serious cash for him.I think Kompany, Otamendi and Denayer, with the addition of Stones would be great as our centre backs next season.

Slower than whom? Aguero, Stones, Hussein Bolt?A somewhat uninformed pros/cons of Stones vs Laporte
Laporte
Pros:
-Better in the air
-Stronger
Cons:
-Slower
----------------
Stones:
Pros:
-Probably more versatile (could play DM)
-HG Status
Cons:
-More expensive

I'm sorry but Otamendi is light years better than Mangala. He is multiple classes above him. No way Ota is being sold. The taught is laughable really. If a new CB comes in its either Denayer is not coming back or Mangala is leaving.^^^ Fucking quality Tugay mate !
Am I the only one who thinks Pep might quite fancy moulding the Mangler into the potentially top class left sided CB he might still become ? I know he's not a kid anymore but he's still got the potential to be a better player than Nico imo ... he's bigger, faster, naturally left footed, much better long range passer etc.
Buying Laporte and selling Otamendi would still see us gaining a home grown squad member with Denayer returning and give us fantastic options across the line.
Haven't clocked either, but Laporte looks much faster going by my eye test. I've seen Laporte chase down fast players, I generally tend to see Stones avoiding getting into races with fast guys.Stones
Just my impression from what I've seen of him.
