He left his childhood sweetheart and mother of his toddler for a wag (?) who was already pregnant and now lives with her. I dont think his ex took well to this . Ever since the 60s Manchester has always had a lively off field love web like no other City. They basically work,play, shop in the same place and " carry on" in what now thanks to social media is a fairly transparent bubble.

Shit, didn't know this. I often think he looks depressed as hell. If he stays then I hope that his fight for a team place gives him a break and he comes out of it a stronger person and player.
 
I think he gets a hard time of it, personally i quite like his versatility. right sided centre back or in central defence on the right or in a back two just not on the left. he can also play in midfield just behind the holding midfielder and to the right as bit.
 
Stones staying in our squad would be equally as bad as if Koulibaly stayed at Napoli. One of our quality CBs getting an injury, and this man is back ”defending” for us. He’s just gonna harm this team again and again. Wouldn’t be surprised is he’ll be responsible for us crashing out in the UCL next year.

Fuck sakes get rid of him already.
 
Yeah. Can see him staying especially if we sell Garcia. Let's hope that whichever CB we buy steps up and stays fit. Because one thing is sure about Stones, He will always let you down.
 
I just see him stepping up based on the uncertainty for his future. he came out stating he wants to fight for his place and stay at city. So this is the moment. He messes up, hes gone! So hes got it all to do. Remember defenders peak between 26-30. Hes 26 now, and the prime/peak of JS will come about. Give the man his season.
 
He might be here next season but Pep will make sure he wont play. He gave up on him last season and no way back imo from that.
There is a reason we brought Ake in and another CB is wanted.
