Call it a gut feeling mate, we're on the up and i'm confident as fcuk and i got a mint wage last month so 50 dabs was fook all tbh mate.

Fair enough but there are two sides to this. Yes terry hasnt made a statement - but then he isn't required to. Why would we make a bid if he wasnt interested - maybe Terry put the feelers out hoping to attract a bid in order to get a better deal.

I agree he could use us to get a better deal in theory, but practically that's never gonna happen believe it or not chelsea do have a salary level way below us, mr lampard and co would be banging down Romans door and it would create chaos.

I have been told to expect Terry to break his silence on the matter soon. It may be in City's favour too as he is unhappy about his last contract negotiation and he believes he had his loyalty used against him by the club.
How could he possibly be unhappy with a deal that sees him be the highest paid player at the club no matter what?

Because him and Lampard were given ultimatums by the club, Terry signed as he loved the club and Lampard didn't and subsequently got an almighty increase in offer.

That is why.
so is he coming to city or stringing us along until chelsea make him feel loved again ?

Who knows, only time will tell.

And he has had a massive argument with the club about Muriniho but I'm not sure if this has remained a bone of contention. It's hardly going to help when his prospective new manager won't be able to give his team talk in English, leastways not for a bit.

Complete and utter tripe mate, if Terry makes a statement it's to show his desire for chelsea he would not slag chelsea of in public.

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

did Bill Kenwright just say on radio that Lescott can leave if he puts in a transfer request?

Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

I think he must be talking to us both or at leasting planning to. If it's true that he says he will be issuing a statement to Yoevil fans for not showing up at the testimonial today, then we won't have long to wait.
