They are only rumours that he is interested. Nothing concrete. I could say i have heard rumours that he likes all this going on because he wants a better deal out of chelsea.

It isn't a rumour that Terry hasn't said anything. We're not basing this on rumours. We're basing it on the very real fact that he has not dismissed the prospect of moving to City. And if Chelski found it necessary to throw a hissy fit on Thursday following the £30 mill bid, they'd be falling over themselves to make a formal statement belittling the £300,000 rumour and reaffirming Terry's determination to stay. They are annoyed enough with us as it is without letting it drag on for days now.

Definitely think there is more in this yet, agree with the posts regarding terry making a statement, i would have thought he would have come out and expressed his disire to remain at Chelsea, not doing this is interesting. Also, i have faith in GC and co that they wouldn't have tried this deal with some confidence of being able to sign him, moreover after the Kaka saga.

Nope still don't get it. Can't see any way we'd get Mr Chelsea and won't be bothered if Mr Chelsea joins City or not.

Why is that mate i'd love to know your reasons why we wouldn't get him?

I'm not sure why you are so confident - because Terry hasnt made a statement? He isn't required to. And i see this as similar to the Gerrard situation where he was never ever going to sign for chelsea but had to look like it was a real possiblity for full effect.

IMO terry is running this show, he came to us and said bid for me !! we would not go back unless the player had made noises.
he might be using us to get a better deal i don't know but i'm pretty sure he's played his part in this second bid to be placed !

It's simply that I believe that he is Chelsea through and though. I can't see him coming to us purely for the dough. He has a great deal already at a club he loves. Of course I may be completely wrong. It just strikes me as being as implausible as signing Gerard from t's cousers.

I acknowldge though that if he does not make a public announcement then there may well be something in it. But even then I'd still be surprised, nay shocked if he leaves Chelski for us.

Call it a gut feeling mate, we're on the up and i'm confident as fcuk and i got a mint wage last month so 50 dabs was fook all tbh mate.

Fair enough but there are two sides to this. Yes terry hasnt made a statement - but then he isn't required to. Why would we make a bid if he wasnt interested - maybe Terry put the feelers out hoping to attract a bid in order to get a better deal.
