Re: Chelsea reject Terry offer [Merged]

I have been told to expect Terry to break his silence on the matter soon. It may be in City's favour too as he is unhappy about his last contract negotiation and he believes he had his loyalty used against him by the club.

How could he possibly be unhappy with a deal that sees him be the highest paid player at the club no matter what?

Nope still don't get it. Can't see any way we'd get Mr Chelsea and won't be bothered if Mr Chelsea joins City or not.

Why is that mate i'd love to know your reasons why we wouldn't get him?

For the record i'm sooo confident about this i put 50 dabs on yesterday with skybet 7/2.

It's simply that I believe that he is Chelsea through and though. I can't see him coming to us purely for the dough. He has a great deal already at a club he loves. Of course I may be completely wrong. It just strikes me as being as implausible as signing Gerard from t's cousers.

I acknowldge though that if he does not make a public announcement then there may well be something in it. But even then I'd still be surprised, nay shocked if he leaves Chelski for us.

Cheers mate i respect your opinion although i disagree to a certain extent. I think if JT his offered the sort of money in the region 200/250k per week he would come he has a young family who would be set-up for life and his kids, kids too. I understand he earns 130k a week now but the 50% tax comes in soon.

Because him and Lampard were given ultimatums by the club, Terry signed as he loved the club and Lampard didn't and subsequently got an almighty increase in offer.

That is why.
