Re: More info on JT

It will be a media sh*t show if he doesn't train with Chelsea tomorrow.

Re: Terry - it looks on?

Hang on this is the Sun? The Sun that is seen by City fans as a poor source? I'm glad some people are seeing sense, because whenever it's a story produced by a paper saying Chelsea or another team of highjacked a deal involving City, you all jump out of your chairs and say it's all bollocks (even when it has quotes from a manager, chief executive and chairman). However, when it's an article which brings good news it must be all true?

I'll go with the people on here that still see The Sun as a useless source of information. Terry is trying to sort out an improved contract. If he leaves he'll be the most hated and two faced player in Chelsea history, despite all he has done.

does no one have a slight suspicion on here?

theres a piece in the sun about terry might actually want a move, suddenly 4 different ITK's, (who by the way have been missing in action for days on end) come out of the wood work claiming to know that terry is coming, and in some cases claiming they posted it first.
it all smacks of attention seeking tbh. at first when it was just spursmad saying it i thought yes, maybe but now theyre all jumping on it im thinking 'bollocks'
hope im wrong but there you go

I see what you mean, but spursmad posted a betting receipt the other day showing the 50 dabs he placed on terry coming. Now thats a fair chunk of money to risk on a team you don't support. SM is well itk imo.

the thing is though that mcgarry would be hating writing anything looking good towards city so this is what makes it half believeable!

we'll be wanting JT for the umbro kit launch in SA

Not really, if you had a player which claimed to love the club and never left, but you find out he was only out chasing the money, you would be pissed off too. It appears that when Chelsea were the richest club he was happy to stay (and proclaim his love for Chelsea) but when City became the richest club and could offer him more dosh he's happy to be a total turncoat. If this goes through, not only is he no more than a money grabber but he is an awful liar and is reputation as a whole will be tarnished in my opinion.

It's in the main JT thread...can't be arsed looking for it but it's in their! he placed 50 dabs @ 10/1 with skybet before he told us about city's interest!

Re: More info on JT

Could somebody tell me how this guy has access to Terry's mind? He might be ITK with whats happening WITHIN manchester city, but unless he's a very close friend of Terry's then this is a pointless topic.

Re: Terry - it looks on?

are you soiling your self fulham road at the thought of captain marvel leaving?

i mean why would you feel the need to come on a city forum and justify anything, why not just sit back and have a laugh at our expence!

you keep telling your self that no one would ever leave to go to city, but we've already nicked robinho away from you and with bridge, SWP and barry already here you know deep down it could happen hahaha

Re: More info on JT

Apologies if posted. Telegraph:

Manchester City are looking to lure Bayern Munich's Lucio to Eastlands if they fail to secure John Terry, who is reportedly seeking talks over his future at Chelsea. Lucio, who captained Brazil to their recent Confederations Cup success, would cost in the region of £7 million.

Although a Manchester City delegation travelled to Munich this week to try and secure Lucio's services, manager Mark Hughes could be heartened by reports that Terry is said to be angry with the club's board ever since City tabled their £30 million bid.

According to the Sun, the club have yet to speak to Terry about his future. An insider said: "John feels betrayed and even unwanted.

"It's unbelievable - even though he's the club captain and one of the Blues' most important players, senior management at the club haven't once tried to talk to him."

Meanwhile, Lucio said: "It is up to Bayern what they want to do. I am happy in Germany, but I would be interested in a new challenge in a new country."

Reports last month suggested the Brazil defender was one of four players - along with Tim Borowski, Andreas Ottl and Christian Lell - new coach Louis van Gaal was looking to move on.

An indignant Lucio said he would not hang around if he was not wanted

Star:

MANCHESTER City want Brazilian defender Lucio as a back-up plan if they fail to land John Terry.

Bayern Munich’s central defender is available for £7m, a pittance for City’s cash-rich Abu Dhabi group.

Boss Mark Hughes is trying everything to land Terry.

But with Chelsea insisting their skipper is not for sale at any price, Hughes has continued searching.

Lucio is 31 and has only a year left on his deal with Bayern.

He captained Brazil to success in the recent Confederations Cup in South America – heading the winner against the USA.

Lucio said last night: “It is up to Bayern what they want to do. I am happy in Germany, but I would be interested in a new challenge in another country.’’

City could face competition for Lucio from Inter Milan if they fail in their bid to land Ricardo Carvalho from Chelsea.

I think I'd rather have Lucio!

Sorry mate, you're living in dream world.

Official sources :
Terry's wants to stay

Some little kid on a forum and The Sun:
Terry's handing in a transfer request.

See a pattern?

Right. SWP wasn't getting any first team football so we were going to sell him anyway, Same with Bridge, we were never linked with Barry and Robinho went to City because Real wouldn't accept out offer and City were willing to offer more money, so Real accepted.

Yes, I'm shitting myself about Terry, but if he leaves he'll only be chasing money as when City become a real force, he'll either be retired or not good enough to start, so it's hardly ambition he is chasing. If he wanted more club silverware before he retired he'd have a much better chance at Chelsea.

Still, I think he is most likely trying to get a pay rise.
