he does moan at every decissioin (sp?) but thats a good thing because thats we we missed last year, everytime a bad deceission went agaisnt us we just carried on instead of asking questions like these "big 4" n get more decissions ect...

Ewww. I want us to be as successfull as the next fan, but i think theres ways we should go about up. Immitating the antics of the top 4 isn't it.

Moaning after a decision is pointless it wont change the officials decision and will most likely end up them spiteing the player to show who's boss.

seems are odds have halfed this morning from 5-1 to 5-2 for terry to sign for us be intresting to see if there is any more money for him today like the gamble that went down on owen joining the rags i really think this could happen now but i would'nt expect it to be done quickly it could rumble on right down to the wire

I know McGarry and others in the prosfession. He is widely regarded as a poor journo and is reported to be hanging onto his job by a thread.
In January we vilified him for his anti city rants and there was even talk of directing chants at him and making him unwelcome at COMS. Was even criticized by the Club.
One half positive article in our direction and suddenly there might be some truth in what he`s written. We could all have guessed and conjectured at the information in this article - it doesn`t mean he is right or has any knowledge of the situation - as per usual!!

Praise the Lord! Someone on Bluemoon with a level head and common sense. How this guy can be taken seriously after his previous publications regarding us is quite frankly absurd. If you believe this article then you must believe some of his other articles which is very worrying indeed.

I think it is ridiculous the amount of money we are supposed to have offered for a CB (albeit very good) at the back end of his career. We are in danger of becoming a laughing stock with these offers for players that if we are honest, we know they wont come here. Kaka, E'to, and the latest one, John Terry. We should concentrate on signing players that are realistic targets and will improve the team, like Gareth Barry, RSC, posssibly Lescott, and players that are excellant in the PL, but are not considered world superstars. World superstars will not come here until we are in the CL. We are in a catch 22 situation. To get the top stars we need to be in the CL, but we wont get there without top stars, and despite our money the top stars are rich enough to knock us back. So the answer is to do an "Everton or Villa" and get to the top 6 first. Then we can attract a better class of player and have a go at the top 4 which will then allow us to go for the top players. Sorry to sound so negative but its going to take 2/3 years before we can get the really big boys down here.

I totally agree with you Widnes Blue - as a club we are looking like the last bloke in the bar on a singles night - fucking desperate - and no one should appear desperate no matter how desperate they actually are.
