whats the point in getting robbie then using him to get a centreback? not a chance as robbie said hes here long term and wants us to sign players like tevez,eto'o etc etc.

Do you think that terry has hinted that he would be interested to hear what city have to say to him and what they are offering in sense of the project which im sure was the result in barry and santa joining, considering barry wanted champs league football to all of a sudden out of the blue sign for us who are not in europe, could this be a clever tactic from chelsea to see what our pulling power is towards signing players. I do hope i'm wrong on this one, it just maybe me thinking about it to much considering terry is mr chelsea through and through.

So your saying that you hate Spurs football club because of one of the greatest F A cup finals there as ever been. I can totally understand your dissapointment, but hatred I don't understand.

Greatest if you are a Spurs fan. I was devastated at the time. I still can't look at Glen Hoddle without wanting to twat him.

I'm not saying I hate them because of 81, but it was certainly the start of it. I think you'll find a lot of blues my age or older who feel the same.

for me ..... what sold it to barry was the JT deal

and the eto deal
the tevez deal....and
the lescott deal....oh and money!! ;-)

My theory for what it's worth.........

MH has been on hols to Dubai, Terry was there to and Lescott coincidence? City made aware JT interested in our project whether that be via a city player an agent or even himself! City feel confident to bid but chelsea fcuk it off. Chelsea make Terry aware of this and Terry makes chelsea aware of his intentions to talk with us, all goes quiet chelsea give city permission to "officially" speak with JT he pulls out of testimonial to conduct talks thats why no statement. JT has a while to mull the offer over before telling chelsea what he wants to do, if he's coming chelsea accept a bid or Terry declares his desire to stay.
