I'd love him to come to City because I think he oozes quality and he gives his all for the shirt but deep down I just cannot see it. However if we can sign the England captain from Chelsea then that leaves me with little doubt that we can attract more or less any player in the world bar your Messi's, Kaka's etc. I think this would be a huge statement of intent signing one of the foundations of Chelsea's first team personally.

Big Ned's not going anywhere (hopefully) he's only a baby in CB terms and if we're realistic in where we wan't to go we will be playing 70/80 games a season? in the next few years, we really need quality players in every position, Ned and the rest will get they're fair share if games.

It's more a matter of getting quality players to understand the squad aspect of a wining football team and not just the first eleven, something a hell of a lot of players can't seem to understand.

Win lots of things playing half the possible amount of games or start every game and win fcuk all? I know what I'd choose.

Update: quoting several newspapers, NOTW mainly. Just saying he's disappointed with the signings and would like to talk to us. Stopped short of a transfer request (loyalty bonus they think again ARGH!)

About an hour ago on talksport, big discussion on JT, the feeling / inside info is he is 60-40 going to sign. JT reckons we are two major signings from knocking Arsenal out of the top 4 this coming season.

I would be delighted if Terry signed, i know others have differing opinions but that is what a forum is for. IMO Terry will want to ensure he is ready for the world cup next year so possibly wont want the European games (and associated travelling) whilst still being competative in the domestic league.
If he did sign, who would be captain as i am sure i read that Barry will be given the captains armband this coming season.
