This is a prime example of the situation. If Terry wanted to stay at Chelsea just say "it's bollocks mate I aint going to City". However what is he doing? Does he want to come to us or is he playing us off against Chelsea to get a pay rise? If he stays there it will be a bit hollow next time he kisses the badge and bang goes the Mr Chelsea image he likes to portray.
your right mate whatever happens now his image at chelsea is tarnished! think any proper die hard chelsea fan will eventually admit to this, there just in the denial stage at the moment

New Terry bid

If those Lampard quotes are true then he doesn't sound confident on him staying there

what do they say?
i tell a lie i haven't heard RSC speak about jt! dunne said something along the lines of he'd be welcome and it shows everyone is interested in joinig us, it wasn't a major piece! if you look through this forum somewhere cant remember where but someone has posted an article think its from the mirror and robbie is basically saying how he thinks were buying quality and if we got jt we could be a top force in europe etc etc

Robbies quotes on ssn, Rsc ssn earlier today, Dunne can't remember but i've seen it somewhere.

Interesting lampard quotes

John is a very honourable man and it doesn't come down to money and things like that,' said Lampard.

'I know John and I know he'll be thinking about what's the right thing to do as a player and, in the longer-term, for his career.

'No-one should doubt that John Terry wants to be successful. No one should doubt that John Terry is a winner.

'This is not just about the money and people shouldn't try to make it that black and white. It's understandable because it's Manchester City who've come in, but it's up to John what happens.

'All I can say is that I'm very proud each time I play with him and, as a club, you want to keep players like John Terry. It's as simple as that.'
