Alright. But, we need to know what's gonna happen and not keep on wasting time. I am happy to keep on working out on the deal with Chelsea but as far as we sign another defender during this time. Terry needs to state his interest too.

Have patience mate, we will have a plan B where JT is concerned, look at how quick Ade signed when we shut the door on Eto'o

Alright mate.

Alright then. All we need is Terry stating to public that he is interested in City's project.

What Chelski seem to be saying is that want him to formally request a transfer. He should do this immediately, if you ask me.

That might be the case most likely.

sorry if it's been posted but this seems to suggest the Sheikh is very confident of getting JT - and soon....

sounds to me like the daily star is quoting Ajay from off here?

on other transfer targets i get a hunch of which way its gonna go, on this i admit defeat, some days im confident others im not, today i wasn't confident after hearing ancelottis press conf stating we'll know soon, i thought that indicates he's ready to sign a new deal, but then many people on here seem more confident than ever! if he comes some one at chelsea is getting fired (kenyon i hope) cuz they seem to have made a real mess of this no matter what the outcome is

Apologies if posted before but the Daily Minger is talking about early resolution. Trouble with this is if there is some sort of a cut off point, what are the remedies. What are they going to do about it if he ignores them. He's been doing this for weeks. Nobody can force him to put in a request by Friday if he is minded not to. The issue of meaningless deadlines and ultimatums are counter productive. Acholotti haven't grasped this for some reason. He issues a deadline but nothing changes, so he issues more deadlines and nothing happens and with every ultamatum . The more he does this, the more stupid he seems to become.

Kenyon is no Einstein either.

The one thing I thought when I heard this was "Chelsea are getting scared."

They are simply calling his bluff because they have no idea what he is going to do.

Where did he say anything about deadlines? Ancelotti said he thinks the situation with Terry will be clear within a week, that's all.

What is that obsession of twisting every little piece of tabloid rubbish into something negative towards Chelsea?

I suspect the plan is far more sophisticated and pre rehearsed than anyone realises. Through various 'go betweens' (Terry's agent most likely) a plan will be in place (Chelsea may even be in on it - Lambard seems to be). Once both teams return to the UK this will get worked out. Either Terry signs a new deal and we move on or more likely Terry asks to speak to us we make a mega offer and Chelsea unveil a big signing to appease their faithful. Patience is the key.
