Its funny reading the posts on that site, the way they describe manchester is amazing

JT will stay at Chelsea in my honest opinion and quite rightly so. He is at a top 2/3 club, always in the chase of trophies and with a settled, long-term manager (- which I believe we will have now, as Carlo is who Abramovich has wanted all along). Carlo will be consistently backed by Roman with financial resources IMO, so that Chelsea FC will be in the mix of the trophies always.

Added to that, London / Cobham - great places to live, great lifestyle - very unlike Manchester with their constant burglaries of top players and the live in fear that their wives and kids must always have to endure up there. Plus there is the familiarity with his club's owner itself (unheard of at most clubs) - honeymoon on Roman's yacht ! Nice if you can get it.

Londons no better than Manchester in my opinion . They both have their niceplaces and dumps. I don't live in either place, nor England.

Come to Manchester u know you want to

Where do you live then.................................

WALES??

Cant stand the shandy boys down south, Manchesters a great place to live, the people are friendlier and its just a more compact version of London, rather than having to get on 10 different tubes and 3 buses to go somewhere you can just walk!

Anyway, its not a matter of it, its a matter of when with Terry now!

Thanks for that GREAT insight there!

The battle to win Terry is by no means won. Chelsea were relieved last night to learn that their captain will join his team-mates tomorrow for the flight to the United States for the first leg of the club's 10-day pre-season tour. But the 28-year-old has still not made up his mind how he will handle the refusal of club owner Roman Abramovich to allow him to speak to City, following their £280,000-a-week pay offer. City officials, meanwhile, are expected in the capital today to seek the new work permit that Adebayor will need if he is to move from Arsenal. A deal may be concluded today, though as of late last night no medical had been planned for him at City. Reports from Catalunya this morning suggest that Arsène Wenger might be interested in Samuel Eto'o, who effectively rejected City, though his wage demands present a major problem.

Part of the article from todays independent.

yeah, I don't think Terry going to America will put a potential deal off, we'll still have the better part of 3 weeks until the season opener when he returns.

It's a bit snide and misleading, the independent. WTF was the point in that Eto remark in the middle of the article.

Well I never. We'll have to rely on telegrams, then.
