Yup. Robinho was the first tremor that could of been dismissed as a one off. Now we have Tevez and (fingers crossed) Adebayor we are rocking the foundations. All three have been heavily linked with Chelsea but ended up here. The time to change is now.

On one hand i'm so excited\about who we are bringing in and what we can do next year, but on the other hand it kind of feels like cheating a bit. We are cherry picking players and bringing them in instead of developing them ourselves. Obviously i shouldn't complain but i love the stage we are in now. I always thought it would be boring being a rag fan always winning everything and i loved our unpredictability, but clearly that will all go away soon and we should hopefully start winning things. Silly argument, it's just the mentality of a City fan i suppose

Well many people were laughing at us when we made the bid, thinking it would turn out like kaka.

But we really surprised as we are closer than ever to landing our biggest signing.

Like a lot of high profile transfers it's a game of brinkmanship. All parties are anxiously waiting to see who makes the next move.
I tend to think that JT will not publicly force the issue and believe we will make the next move by tabling another higher bid. The timing of this will be important. JT may then express his desire to talk to us and the end game will begin.

spot on spandash..I think Weiss will make his place his own before the end of next season.I still think we should be further forward than the rags however after our kids have left them for dead for the last 10 years but hopefully that will change.The owners have given Cassell a free Globel role in terms of finding the worlds best kids so I think we will dominate football in europe for decades.We are also covering ourselves for any rule changes in terms of home grown kids in the side.It;s a whole new world for us,football to me was 90mins of crap interupting a good day out LOL.how that is about to change.

i posted yesterday saying some rags from my office saw JT1 on an aston martin lunchtime yesterday at the lowry hotel. i then caught them checking to see if they could find out if it was actually terry's car on t'interweb.
