I’m not sure it is really off limits here or if the poster simply deleted it due to someone saying it was disgusting. How many posts would be deleted on here if just one poster was offended? Loads of mine would be gone

I said it was disgusting .
I was brought up with christian values, I still go to church but not religiously. The image makes me uncomfortable because of my beliefs.
I never asked Blue44 to delete the post and I never reported it.
Try putting something similar against any other religion in the same vain and see where that gets you.
The Police would be all over it if it was reported as it would be classed as a hate crime.

As for the Olivia Newton John joke, death comes to us all, I liked the joke as it was not derogatory or offensive to her memory. when my turn to shuffle off this earth comes I would be disappointed if there wasn’t laughter at my funeral.

Perhaps Christianity only gets slated on a forum that is mainly UK based users, or ex-pats, that grew up in a country comprehensively covered with Christian symbols and influence. ie it's the main butt of jokes because of where the majority come from.
Therefore it makes jokes more often to occur about Christianity, due the overwhelming prevalence of that religion to the posters, in their experiences and life.

Take any subject you have no knowledge or experience of, and it'll be hard to make a joke about it. I know zero jokes about the Incan religion for example, because I know diddly about Incan religion.

I've seen across multiple different social platforms, over many years, Christians complain about '(religious) jokes are only about us', it's bollox.
If anything it's just faux outrage, against the backdrop of living in an originally christian society that is progressive, tolerant and allows jokes about practically anything, even if it offends some.

You are coming across as a "Liverpool" supporter (you aren't), unable to understand that others are allowed to take the piss.

See this clip below of a comedian, taking the mick out of scousers, and the effect that has on the few Liverpool inhabitants in the audience. at 2.02 - the words he uses are quite apt.
he also takes the piss out of himself -" loud abnoxious drunken australian".

It was pure blasphemy, I find it offensive.

I also find it offensive you likening me to a dipper.

I saw the post, to me, it was on "a" subject - and it was amusing in a 'very slight smile' way.

I more noticed the appalling photoshop skills, that the 2 pool bar scenes were different scenes, and in the 2nd one, another player other than jesus was also taking a shot.
@blue44 should be ashamed to post such crap. ;-)
