Just been watching a bbc breakfast travel news item for the deaf.
The woman signing gave up after three attempts at Cockermouth.

A deaf guy has been working with the mob. He was given the job of moving a whole load of cash and diamonds from one location to another. However, one day he disappears along with the loot. The gangsters eventually track him down and are interrogating him in their hideout.
However, because he only signs, they can't understand him, so they get in a translator who can do sign language.
"Ask him where he's hidden the loot?"
The translator asks him the question and the deaf guys signs back.
The translator says.. "He says he has no idea what you're talking about, he delivered the goods and then took a holiday"
The gangster pulls out a gun. "Tell him I'm gonna count to five and if he doesn't talk, his brains are going to be all over the wall"
The translator translates..
The deaf guy signs back "Ok, OK, they're in a hollow log on the east side of the park. Right next to the bridge"
The gangster asks "What did he say?"
"He says, he has no idea what you're talking about and you don't have the balls to pull the trigger"
