The only basis upon which he would be going would be if another defender was on their way in, which seems illogical.

Call me Mr insensitive (I'm not very good at spotting when people, especially women, are about to burst into tears), but he looked and sounded fine to me.

The only thing in the interview that I would change is that bloody door at the back of lescott,get the door closure working.Slammed shut at the begining and you could see lescott jump.

I do admit that he looked like he was upset, but I read this thread before viewing the video so it might just be confirmation bias, where I saw what I thought I would see.

All I know is that this is clearly the fault of Mancini and his awful man management

I just thought he looked cold and as if he is starting with a cold maybe?

Does he wear contact lenses? If so he would have had to take them out to have a shower and maybe, if he knew he had to do the interview quickly after that, he put them back in quickly and not as efficiently as normal.

Or, as someone else intimated, he could just have heard the sad news about Coleen Rooney's sister and he is a friend of theirs isn't he? Mind you even if he isn't it was very sad news.

But I definitely didn't think he looked as if he had been crying.

Or, if he had, it might have been with relief if he was told that they definitely are NOT selling him. I hope they aren't anyway because we are just coming back to our best.
