Maybe Mancini has been told to sell before he buys and the board have been looking to offload Lescott as we have Nasty and Rekik as cover. Mancini is against the idea completely and that is why he has bought JL back into the team the past couple of games to show the board that he needs JL. Either that or he wasn't impressed with Nasty at Norwich!

Something is going on with JL. He has been linked heavily with a number of sides recently and then his management team come out and say that he wants to stay at City. It almost feels like City are pushing him out of the door and his team come out publicly and say that he wants to stay at City.

That's what's happening most probably.
