Let's now give the facts around this. One, and only one, idiot who had apparently been chased by stewards in the first half came and stood with his friends immediately behind the goal for the second half.
We had a corner in the second half and he shouted "come on scar face lets have a goal". A completely irrelevant and out of orde comment.
Lescott clearly heard it as he gave a dirty look towards the area where we were.
The unfortunate thing was the cretin who said it was hiding behind others and not in his correct seat and therefore identifying him may be difficult
Those around the guy who had balls gave him what for and I have tweeted this to Lescott on two occasions since the game.
The comments of one idiot do not condone his choice not to clap the other 7000 and could be seen as an excuse for his disappointment in his blame for fault for the goal.
Two wrongs do not make a right!!

Had he been a volunteer or getting his bus fare for playing I could see his point and might have some sympathy for him.

But as a guy earning more in a week than many on this forum will earn in 5 years he should be able to take it.
