Overall, the team didn't play well. Joleon got abuse and quite rightly made it public (don't understand why people are mad about that?).

In the heat of the moment he decided not to applaud the fans, probably annoyed at the result and the comments from the fan(s). Totally understandable again.

I just wonder whether if this was a other player like Vinny or Pab would he be getting as much stick?

Not only for the Blackburn goal but on many occasions didn't win enough in the air for a man of his size and experience. I'm not saying he was the only one as Nastasic didn't cover himself in glory but felt he let a team from the league below us get the better of him. On a bobbly pitch like today he really does make the heart miss a beat when he has to make a pass or control it.

Great player for us in title winning season and will never forget that but his time is up. Not sure what will happen now but can be sure he won't be here next season, especially with Rekik earning rave reviews.

Just don't agree.Watched the goal again and I wouldn't attach much if any blame to him.It's what can happen with zonal marking.Negredo was the man given a specific marking role but switched off when the ball didn't go to Dann.Add a shocking mistake from Pants and ....oh yes it was all Lescott's fault.

I would have him as by a street our best defender today as Nastasic was really awful but because he is young he is allowed so much leeway. He will just have to live with being disliked I guess because he " doesn't look comfortable on the ball"

I agree mate. Some fans can't wait to find someone to blame - it really doesn't seem that they actually watched the game or that they know much about football. Had he been a volunteer or getting his bus fare for playing I could see his point and might have some sympathy for him.

But as a guy earning more in a week than many on this forum will earn in 5 years he should be able to take it.

I'm not saying that giving one if our players some shit is the best way to get the best out of them, but when the financial rewards at the end of the week are so high then he should shut up and show the rest of the fans some respect at the end of the game.

Dissecting players performances on here and making negative comments is one thing and when watching live the odd collective groan when someone fucks up or misses a sitter is the same.

To openly shout abuse about a players appearance when you supposedly support the club is in my opinion indefensible and i don't care how long muppets who do this have supported the club, i just wish they would fuck off as they are a total embarrassment and in the old days would probably have got a smack off someone too!
