the problem for newcastle is they just dont have enough players there that care about the club. they've signed a load of journeymen. charlie austin would be ideal for them.
They have too many journeyman, so the solution is a player who's had 7 clubs by the age of 26, never staying anywhere more than 2 years? Not sure that makes a lot of sense.the problem for newcastle is they just dont have enough players there that care about the club. they've signed a load of journeymen. charlie austin would be ideal for them.

Can't be arsed finding another thread but Andros Townsend looks Newcastle bound.
Sissoko Wijnaldum Shelvey Townsend
Perez Mitrovic
Looks a fairly decent front six.
Looks like Austin is on his way to Southampton, according to Sky Sports.the problem for newcastle is they just dont have enough players there that care about the club. they've signed a load of journeymen. charlie austin would be ideal for them.

Townsend should be a good signing for Newcastle. I like him, he's got good quality in the final third and makes things happen.
Shelvey and Townsend both probably make the England squad if they're on top form, so Newcastle realistically aren't going to sign much better than that.
