If we sign him and he helps us win the Prem then 30 million is good value. If we finish third then it's probably been a poor acquisition...

We had FFP constraints and gambled £3 mill on a player Pellegrini knew.yes he did in his first season, ended up as Premier League champions.
This is not comparable at all.

yes he did in his first season, ended up as Premier League champions.
MDM was a very good football player who was at the tail end of his career. He ended up doing a bloody good job in his first season.

I'm afraid that's a cop out. We can all think for ourselves and I have said I dont want Evans, but the City Management team obviously do, so why do you think that is?He's not bad, he's average and has as many weaknesses as he does 'tick boxes' is the point I'm making.
