Well we went from 60 to 20 over Sánchez!West Brom wanted 35m in the summer what makes you think with 18months left on his contract and Arsenal also sniffing around all of a sudden it would drop by 15m?
As a Northern Ireland based City fan , I think you will soon realise how much Evans has improved since he played for United. I guarantee it.
HahaAs a Manchester based City Fan, I think most of the people who want him are Northern Irish based fans.
I'm not sure how we conducted the Sánchez move will ever be used as a textbook example of how to get your man, but Sánchez does only have 6months left on his contract not 18months the player himself wanted the move, over not really giving a shit(Sánchez signed a deal in the summer pending agreement something Evans never did) and if for a moment you are a WBA what signal does that send unless you squeeze every £ out of the deal.Well we went from 60 to 20 over Sánchez!
But anyway 35 was just preposterous. It's not because he played for them. It's because he wasn't good enough for them as a backup CB and he certainly shouldn't be for us.
Probably right. But that’s because we have watched him a lot more
Don't think you'll get any sympathy, we'll all have to watch him a lot more soon.Probably right. But that’s because we have watched him a lot more
He plays over here.
I think you know the point he's making. NI fans will have been watching his games in full for NI. They will have seen much more of him than the vast majority of people on here.
Thanks Geoff. Some people just try to be clever when you’re trying to have a conversation
Has it crossed anyone's mind that he might have improved a bit since leaving United? In fairness it's not often players get better as they grow older.
No, they haven't. They have seen him playin international football, which one step above pub level & no guage of Premier League games.
We see him either on highlights or live, pretty much every week. Not only that but I've seen most of his recent games for them too.
There are very few people here, who don't know how JFE plays.
Which is why so many don't want him & are hoping for a miracle improvement from Pep, if we do sign him.
We've even seen him playing against us, this season (stranded at the halfway line, pointing, as we fucked off & scored in the cup game)

Nolito is a great player who wasnt happy in Manchester, like a few more weve had
