Bottom line: Evans is considered a foreigner in the champions league as long as we have our 4 association players ( Delph, Stones, Walker, Sterling).

In the premier league though he is considered homegrown.

I know I said this before .. and Im sorry for repeating myself .. but why sign Jonny F Evans a 30 year old rag if we wont have the homegrown advantage with him?! Im really annoyed!

There is no advantage in a 5th homegrown player. Homegrown or not it still comes off the 17 free places.
