saf was the most successful manager of all time in the UK but that didn't make Ralph Milne a good footballerIf he’s good enough for Pep, he’s good enough for me

I don't get this talk that it's just a short term solution.
He's not going to sign a 6 month or 1 year contract, so he's going to be on our books long after the "solution".
And who pays £20m+ for a short term solution anyway?
He's dog shit pal,the rags wouldn't of got rid of him if he was any goodI've seen very little of him since he left united .

Your not in the minority m8 and you make a good pointMaybe in the minority but every signing we make should be to challenge players already established in the first team. Evans won't do that - he isn't good enough for this team and signing players on the basis of them being squad players is how you end up with lots of deadwood.
You don't see an issue with dropping close to 30m(maybe more)on someone who is 30 and is your long term solution to your 4th choice? He's a short term third choice option and long term fourth choice option.
Given our stance on Sanchez I don't see City "dropping" £30M on JFE if we buy him it will be at an appropriate price, but everyone is still getting wound up over what is still only a rumour not fact. You don't see an issue with dropping close to 30m(maybe more)on someone who is 30 and is your long term solution to your 4th choice?
I tend to agree WBA got a good deal 10-12m for a guy in his mid-20s and middle-lower end of the table isn't bad, more then double that and 30 for a team looking to compete with the best in Europe, don't see the value myself. No, but Ralph Milne didn't last Ferguson's tenure whereas Evans did and he expressed a fair bit of surprise when LVG binned him off so cheaply.

What a idiot you are.Yes they do. But they also bought Bony, Mangala, Nolito, Sinclair, Rodwell, need I go on.

I just don't see the merit of judging these things in isolation when our actual management will have watched every minute he's played. Likewise, I wouldnt make a firm judgement on John Stones based on his best bits from the past three weeks.
I made a mistake. Apologies. Get over yourself. What a idiot you are.
That’s because of your lust for knocking Txiki, it’s making you look silly. Sinclair and Rodwell... ha.I made a mistake. Apologies. Get over yourself.
