Well if what was being quoted in the media that Chelsea paying €57m with addons of €8m is true that’s €10m more than what we offered but don’t what sarri compensation was I presume Chelsea payed it straight into Sarri back account.

I would go as far to say that if pep god forbid left this season, and city needed a Pellegrini type caretaker manager, he would be the guy that I would give a 2 or 3 year contract. He did wonders with Napoli, particularly with style of play and arguably less resources than other favoured teams in Europe.

The only viable option I could see is them selling hazard, it might weaken them. But 150 mill plus would guarantee 3 or 4 quality players. Plus I could see the Drinkwater or the young Spanish lad up front for them generating a bit of cash.

This is really too bad. I think City should have paid more to secure Jorginho. After that we wouldn’t have had to buy any players for a long time. This is just sloppy.
We have fullbacks, centrebacks, great attacking mids, wingers and two class strikers. A deep mid was the only area to address. Who will it be if not Jorginho? This guy would have completed our team for many years.
