none of us have a clue on the negotiation process or the team talks and game tactics or what goes on in the dressing room. But we judge based on what we see and from what I've seen we do tend to let some negotiations drag on when it feels like we don't need to and sometimes it comes back to bite us. Now of course I don't know all the intricate details of negotiations but from the limited info we get as fans I draw my conclusions just as any other fan would. I'm not saying we need to sign everyone in the first week just would be great to see us wrap up these guys faster when we can instead of letting the risk happen that another club can hijack the deal.

We had a value which we placed on his head and his agent wanted a bidding war , and once the rags gazumped us, we walked. He's been told this multiple times but seems to deliberately ignore it, draw your own conclusions.You really don't seem to understand how complex transfers are.
To use your, seemingly, favourite example of sanchez; arsenal *needed* a replacement, this was january and they were scrapping for results desperately. We tried to offer just money but they needed to secure a replacement. This has nothing to do with Txiki or anyone. Then whilst arsenal were fucking around united offered them money plus Michael Terrapin which suited them down to the ground and then they offered Sanchez crazy wages and he is now wasting the twilight of his career at a team devoid of happines.
But what you fail to grasp is at none of this point was it our fault. We have to wait till the club is ready to sell. No matter how much money we have/offer.
