Jorginho

By this logic none of us have the right to critisize anyone at the club. As fans we have the right to critisize things we find concerning in our club even if we couldn't do a better job. If we follow your logic then no one should ever complain when we play badly because we wouldn't have done a better job.

But you probably know fuck all about the workings of a transfer deal , and yet are willing to tell the professionals how to conduct such business , is the point I am making .

That is my opinion - just like yours .

I get that and that's a respectable stance and ofcourse the Pep effect is great for us and so many players want to come. But we can't let our selves get too arrogant, players will want to play for us sure but they will also always be open to other moves. We aren't entitled to anyone a player will want to move to us but another club can also come in and convince him.
That's why it's best to try to wrap deals up quickly to minimize that risk in my view.

in my view Sanchez on top of earning more money probably felt more wanted by the rags. he sees us telling him to wait till the summer because we won't pay the fee and sees them paying the fee and offering him even more than us. that probably made him feel that they value him more than we do and made him switch sides.
He went for the money, which is probably the very same thing I would have done depending on the deal being offered.

You are missing the main point & the one which has helped get us 100 points.

We only want players who want us.

So if Jorginho or anyone, doesn't want to hang around, or is tempted by more money, he, like Sanchez, Pogba, anyone, can just fuck off.

Exactly this.

You really don't seem to understand how complex transfers are.
To use your, seemingly, favourite example of sanchez; arsenal *needed* a replacement, this was january and they were scrapping for results desperately. We tried to offer just money but they needed to secure a replacement. This has nothing to do with Txiki or anyone. Then whilst arsenal were fucking around united offered them money plus Michael Terrapin which suited them down to the ground and then they offered Sanchez crazy wages and he is now wasting the twilight of his career at a team devoid of happines.

But what you fail to grasp is at none of this point was it our fault. We have to wait till the club is ready to sell. No matter how much money we have/offer.
The thing is we Arsenal would've accepted just money in January which was reported around 25m we weren't willing to pay it and eventually United signed him by offering a player of similar value and a replacement. We could've signed him around the start of the window for 25m and be done with it instead we gambled and it back fired.

And I feel sure that our negotiating team try to achieve that aim whenever possible , with Bernardo Silva being a perfect example .

However, players , agents and selling clubs are no doubt trying to screw the maximum out of a transfer, thus delaying r the process.

But if those negotiations become unacceptable to City, we have proved that we will walk away leaving the player for another club as with Sanchez , who I believe that the rags moved onto as a " dick waving " gesture ( as with most of their transfers ) , because they can't compete with us on a football level at this moment in time.

Wrong on so many ASSUMPTIONS Sanchez took the money option. Stop thinking that he was desperate to come to us. He was just desperate to leave Arsenal - & the rags offer. was obscene

I agree with you mate. We are not a desperate club anymore. Some fans just want....

Sanchez has not yet made his mark at United, and the fact that we coasted the league made the Sanchez transfer easier to comprehend He no doubt will come good. Jorginho could become the new Fabregas and lead Chelsea to a good crack at the title do we still think the business of playing about through summer to and fro to save 2-3 million is the way forward Does it make the player feel wanted i doubt it
